Examining signs of breaking religious norms in Nader Naderpour's poetry

Abstract

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Islam, as the main religion of the people of Iran, has had an impact on their culture, behavior and thoughts and other aspects of their lives, and since the arrival of Islam in this land, in a normatively accepted and divinely legal form, conformity and non-conformity with it have become It has been measured. With the arrival of new ideas influenced by Western culture and the introduction of themes and themes related to the new world, religious phobia and anti-religiousness and some signs of breaking religious norms became more widespread and opposition to religion and its manifestations became a symbol of innovation and progress. And civilization, on the other hand, became a manifestation of nationalism and patriotism. Nader Naderpour, who, under the influence of the western school of romanticism, expressed the characteristics of this school in his poetry, is not an exception to this rule.

METHODOLOGY: This research is based on theoretical studies and library methods.

FINDINGS: Paying attention to ancient Iranian religious views such as Zoroaster and Mani and the discussion of the duality and incarnation of God, anti-monotheism views in Islam, writing obscene poems and nudity in words and body language without paying attention to the customs of the society, the frequency of the use of Satan and Iblis in Poetry and bringing it to the level of godliness, giving a good face to the devil and being influenced by Christianity as a source of inspiration for the followers of the school of romanticism, as well as the manifestations of despair, death thoughts and death wish can be considered as manifestations of Naderpour"s religious norm breaking.

CONCLUSION: According to following romanticism, he shows many signs of breaking religious norms in his poetry, and most of these signs are the characteristics of this school in his poetry. Of course, he did not always have such a thought, and in his other poems, his influence from Islam can be seen, and his poetic style, which shows his attachment to Persian poetry of the past, as well as his growth in the Islamic society, has forced him to use Islamic symbols.
